AMHERST – Farmers in Nova Scotia can turn in obsolete or unwanted agricultural pesticides between Nov. 5 and 16.

The Amherst Co-op farm store is the lone drop-off location in Cumberland County.

The program is operated by CleanFarms, an industry-led national not-for-profit agricultural waste management organization. More than 30,772 kg of obsolete pesticides have been returned since 1998 in Nova Scotia.
