RCMP investigate fatal motor vehicle collision in Wallace

WALLACE – Pugwash RCMP are investigating a single motor vehicle collision, which resulted in the death of a 76-year-old woman.

The Pugwash RCMP was joined by EHS, and the Wallace Fire Department in response to a single motor vehicle collision on Aug. 29 at 3:43 p.m., on Highway 6 in Wallace.

A 76-year-old female passenger was pronounced deceased at the scene.

One of the four occupants of the vehicle was transported by EHS Life Flight to Halifax, and a second was transported by EHS to Halifax. The other passenger was treated at the scene.

A traffic collision analyst was at the scene and the investigation is continuing.

The name of the deceased has not been released pending notification of family.
