AMHERST – The Amherst RCMP charged a 19-year old Cumberland County male on Monday after responding to a single vehicle collision at 5:07 a.m. on Highway 204 in West Leicester.
The 19-year old was arrested and charged for Impaired Operation and Driving with a Blood Alcohol Concentration above the Legal Limit. He is scheduled to appear in Amherst Provincial Court on Aug. 8, at 9:30 a.m.
Cumberland District RCMP remind motorists of MADD Canada's Campaign 911. Anybody suspecting a driver is impaired is asked to call 911.
