AMHERST – Cadets from throughout Cumberland County gathered for the 2012 Tri-Service Annual Ceremonial Review Sunday at Amherst Stadium.
Cadets taking part in the review were the 258 Amherst Sea Cadets, the 272 Amherst Army Cadets and the 154 Amherst Anson Air Cadet Squadron.
Also taking part in the ceremony was the 763 Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron. Bouctouche.
The reviewing officer at the review was Commander Sean Irvine.
Irvine was appointed Deputy Chief of Staff of Staff Surface Operation at Maritime Forces Atlantic in 2010, where he has been charged with directing the Royal Canadian Navy’s participation in OP MOBILE in support of peace operations in Libya and the Mediterranean, and OP ARTEMIS, the RCN’s contribution to counter-terrorism activities in the Gulf of Oman and the Horn of Africa.
