Casey sentenced to two years federal custody

AMHERST – John Francis Leightizer Casey, 52, of Junction Road, Springhill, was sentenced in court on Wednesday to two years federal custody after pleading guilty to having in his possession, for the purpose of trafficking, cocaine.

The incident occurred Jan. 14, 2011, in Springhill.

Casey was one of nine individuals arrested Feb. 1, 2011, throughout Cumberland County where more than six kilograms of cocaine and a pound of marijuana were seized, as well as cash and firearms.
