Brown sentenced to custody, fines, probation

AMHERST – Jaye William Kenneth Brown, 22, of Wentworth, was sentenced in court on Monday to 105 days custody after being found guilty on several different charges.

Brown was sentenced to 60 days custody, consecutive to other sentences, and a one-year driving prohibition after pleading guilty to operating a motor vehicle while the concentration of alcohol in his blood exceeded .08 per cent.

The incident occurred March 11, 2012, in Pugwash.

Brown was sentenced to 30 days custody, consecutive to other sentences, and a one-year driving prohibition after pleading guilty to operating a motor vehicle while the concentration of alcohol in his blood exceeded .08 per cent.

The incident occurred Dec. 29, 2011, in Wentworth.

He was also sentenced in court on Monday to a fine of $1,262.41 for driving a motor vehicle while the privilege of obtaining his license was suspended.

Brown was sentenced in court on Monday to a fine of $399.91 for operating an off-highway vehicle without a permit.

The incident occurred June 10, in Wallace.

Brown was also sentenced in court on Monday to seven days custody, concurrent with other sentences, for not attending court without lawful excuse.

The incident occurred Sept. 27, 2010, in Amherst.

He was sentenced to a further 14 days, concurrent with other sentences, for failing without lawful excuse to attend court.

The incident occurred Aug. 15, 2011 in Amherst.

He was also sentenced to 15 days custody, consecutive to other sentences, after being found guilty of resisting an Oxford RCMP const. while he was engaged in the execution of his duty.

The incident occurred Aug. 1, 2010 in Little River.

Brown was sentenced in court on Monday to seven days custody plus two years probation after pleading guilty to operating a motor vehicle on Highway 307 in a manner that was dangerous to the public.

The incident occurred June 10, 2011, in Wallace.
