AMHERST – A 39-year-old man was arrested May 2, for trafficking marijuana from his Amherst residence, after a quantity of marijuana was seized from a second individual.
Police executed a search warrant under the CDSA and drug paraphernalia was seized.
The accused will be appearing in Amherst Provincial Court on June 4, to answer to charges of trafficking marijuana.
Members of the Cumberland Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit, with the assistance of the Criminal Intelligence Nova Scotia and Amherst Police Department conducted the investigation under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
