Nix sentenced for careless storage of firearm

Troy Evan Nix, 32, of Collingwood, was sentenced in court on Monday to a $575 fine, plus the forfeiture of his shotgun, after pleading guilty to storing a 12-gauge shotgun in a careless manner without lawful excuse.

The incident occurred March 28, in Oxford.
