AMHERST – The sky may not be falling – yet – but reporter Eric Sparling thought Chicken Little was a good name for his new blog, which went live on cumberlandnewsnow.com today.
“I’ll be bringing in links and offering comments on stories from around the world,” said Sparling.
His focus will be “scary news to panic about.”
“It could be a dangerous or controversial idea. It could be a traditional threat, like North Korean nukes. Or it could be an off-the-wall danger, like lady bugs. Seriously, lady bugs can bite.”
Sparling writes news for the paper, as well as the At Work column.
“Humour will be part of the blog, but I’ll be sticking to the truth more than I do with At Work,” he said.
