AMHERST – Amherst’s Roy Porter was hoping the rain would hold off as he practiced his short game just off the practice green Monday afternoon at the Amherst Golf Club.
It was the second time this season the club member has golfed on the course.
Environment Canada is calling for 5 millimetres of rain tonight, with wind gusting to 60 kilometres overnight. Another 15 millimetres of rain is expected to fall tomorrow, with wind gusts diminishing to 40 kilometres.
The best round Porter ever shot on the course is a 76. Dave Mathieson – Amherst Daily News
