Temporary closure of emergency department at North Cumberland Memorial

PUGWASH – Beginning April 10th at 8 a.m., the North Cumberland Memorial Hospital’s emergency department will be closed until the follow day, Wednesday at 8 a.m. The closure is to lack of available physicians.

Anyone experiencing any medical emergences should always call 911. Answers to any medical questions can be directed to the HealthLink 811 phone line where a registered nurse can provide further medical advise.

Anyone requiring more information on proper courses of action during that time can contact the hospital at (902) 243-2521.
