AMHERST – Three Amherst residents face drug related charges after the Cumberland Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit executed a search warrant Feb. 3 for controlled drugs on a residence in Amherst.
As a result of this investigation one pound of cannabis marihuana, a quantity of methamphetamine pills stamped with the name “ICE”, along with drug paraphernalia were seized.
Charges are pending against a 19-year-old female, a 21-year-old male and a 26-year-old male for offences under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
The Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit consists of law enforcement from the Cumberland RCMP, and the Amherst and Springhill Police Departments.
