AMHERST– Brittany Rose Melanson, 19, of an unknown address in Amherst, was sentenced in court on Monday to 15 months probation and restitution in the amount of $60 after pleading guilty to break and entering a place and committing theft therein.
The incident occurred Oct. 6, in Amherst.
Melanson was also sentenced to 15 months probation, concurrent with other sentences after being found guilty of disturbing the peace and quiet of the occupants of a dwelling house by swearing in a public place, and resisting two police officers engaged in the execution of their duty.
