AMHERST – Raymond Melanson, 58, of Greater Lakeburn, N.B., was sentence in court on Monday to a fine of $1,150 and a one-year driving prohibition after pleading guilty to consuming alcohol in such a quantity that the concentration of alcohol in his blood exceeded .08 per cent while he operated a motor vehicle.
The incident occurred Sept. 15, 2011, in Amherst.
