AMHERST – Jody Stephen Walton, 44, of Little Chemogue, N.B. was sentenced in court on Monday to a $500 fine or six days jail for unlawfully fishing for a particular species without holding a fisher’s registration card, thereby committing an offence punishable under section 78 of the Fisheries Act.
The incident occurred July 8, 2011, in Northport.
