AMHERST - Douglas Robert Newman, 49, of Port Howe, was sentence in court on Monday to a fine of $230 and six months probation for stealing property from the Amherst Superstore, the value of which did not exceed $5,000.
The incident occurred Oct. 8 in Amherst.
