HL: Williams pleads guilty to break and enter several residences
AMHERST – Colin Joseph Hebert Williams, 22, of Dufferin Street in Westville, N.S., pled guilty in court on Wednesday to eight counts of break and enter, and committing mischief and damaging property in Amherst Shore, Tidnish Bridge and Port Howe.
Williams will be sentenced Oct. 31.
Williams pled guilty to break and entering four seperated residences at Heathers Beach in Port Howe, N.S., and break and entering, with intent, at two residences at Heathers Beach in Port Howe, N.S.
Williams also pled guilty to committing mischief and damaging property at a residence in Tidnish Bridge and break and entering, with intent, a residence in Amherst Shore.
All the thefts were under $5,000.
The incidents in Port Howe occurred from Nov. 10 to 13, 2010, while the incidents in Amherst Shore and Tidnish Bridge occurred on Dec. 27, 2010.
HL: Trenholm sentenced to six months probation
AMHERST – Laurie Douglas Trenholm, 48, of Etter Ridge Road, Aulac, N.B., pled guilty in court on Wednesday to possession of marijuana and was sentenced to six months probation, with conditions.
The incident occurred Jan. 2 in Maccan.

AMHERST – Charmaine Dawn Sherriff, 40, of Strathcona, N.S., pled guilty in court on Wednesday to possession of marijuana and was sentenced to six months probation, with conditions.
The incident occurred Jan. 2 in Maccan.
