NSCC takes over Teletech building

AMHERST - NSCC finally has a new home for its satellite campus.

Don McCormack, principal of Nova Scotia Community College Cumberland Campus, spent Thursday morning in the former Teletech building in Town Square on South Albion Street. 

He was joined by Cumberland North MLA Brian Skabar for a tour of the facility and to see how the satellite campus will be laid out.

"NSCC signed for the building a week ago," said McCormack, who added a number of locations had been looked at for the relocation.

McCormack is hoping the building will be open for students in the fall.

      To John,no this won't create 150 jobs,but it will get way more people ready to get REAL jobs....this is much better than a call center...

      I'm 50 where are these jobs at the NSCC is traning the people for in Alberta!!!! Maybe John can tell me!!!!!
