AMHERST - The learning doesn't stop just because they're having fun.
Students at Cumberland North Academy will be in the spotlight this week with their year-end performance.
This year, two different casts will take to the stage in Joust! A Mighty Medieval Musical.
Nancy Tucker found the piece and thought it would be a good fit because of its theme - peace.
"It's mirrored after King Arthur and the Sword in the Stone," said Tucker during a dress rehearsal with the students.
"Instead of pulling out a sword from the stone, King Arthur pulls a musical instrument so they decide to make peace, not war."
The play will begin at 7 p.m. on Wednesday (apple cast) and Thursday (orange cast) and admission is free will offering.
The students will also perform both Wednesday and Thursday mornings for their schoolmates.
