AMHERST - I am who I am.
Those five words donned shirts worn by many students at Amherst Regional High School on Monday during anti-bullying day.
More than two dozen students wore their homemade shirts while performing for their fellow classmates to a song from a hit television show.
"I think this gets the message out there," said Chris Spencer who was singing the lead male role in the Dance 11 class's Loser Like Me performance at lunchtime. "It's a fun way to spread the message."
Along with Spencer, Megan Rhindress performed a lead role. The song was written for Glee, a television show based on the lives of the glee club students. Loser Like Me was one of two original songs the show's students performed to win the regional glee club competition and move on to nationals.
