COLLINGWOOD - For the first time in eight years, the ladies auxiliary group in Collingwood had a bus arrive for their pancake supper.
The supper, which supports the local fire department, had around 20 people arrive on a seniors bus from Windsor, Hants County.
"It took us about three hours to get here," said Jaclyn Daniels, a residential care worker with Victoria Park in Windsor.
"We do monthly bus trips and our staff decided it would be a good idea to do something different."
Daniels said the staff of the nursing home found the maple syrup festival online and made the decision to make the long trip.
