Coco Love Alcorn

AMHERST - There aren't many musicians that make George Douglas wanting more, however Coco Love Alcorn does just that.

Alcorn, who was born in Antigonish, will perform songs from her latest album at Tantramar Theatre on April 3.

"I saw Coco Love Alcorn probably for the first time during Nova Scotia Music Week a few years ago. I went to a venue for other potential acts," said Douglas, adding he had heard of Alcorn but had never seen her perform live.

"When I walked into the bar, she had just taken the stage and at the end of it, I didn't want her to leave. She's the only artist in a long time that left made me wanting more."

Douglas said Alcorn is a talented singer, songwriter and musician, whose music he is able to get "really into".

Tickets for the show are on sale now and are available at Tantramar Theatre and Inglis Jewellers.

Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show begins at 8.

"She's one of the greatest talents I've seen come through here that isn't a superstar," said Douglas.

For more information, call the theatre at 667-7002.
