WENTWORTH - Ski Wentworth has been a bustle of activity during the past two weeks, but the rest of the Wentworth community has seen little to no impact from the Canada Games, according to local county councillor Kathy Redmond.
Redmond, one of many volunteers helping out at the ski hill during the Games, said it was unfortunate to see community services not utilized like they could be.
"For the ski community and the hill it's been a tremendous boom, and there have been a lot of people from all over the country here, but we're not seeing any spin-off in the community itself," she said. "It's disappointing."
