Dupuis found guilty of impaired driving

Kenneth Dolph Dupuis, 36, of 39 Lambs Hill Rd., Parrsboro, was fined $1,000 after being found guilty of one count of impaired driving.

Dupuis has until Sept. 2, 2011, to pay the fine.

A 12-month driving prohibition was also imposed, and Dupuis can apply for the ignition interlock device program after 90 days if he so chooses.

The incident occurred Aug. 23, 2009, in Westbrook.


Van de Wiel changes plea

Christopher Van de Wiel, 38, of 1167 Highway 6, Warren, will return for sentencing in April after changing his plea to guilty to two counts of assault with a weapon.

A pre-sentence report was requested.

Van de Wiel will return for sentencing on April 19, 2010, at 1:30 p.m.

The incident occurred May 13, 2009, in Warren.

His undertaking has continued.
