MUSGRAVETOWN, N.L. – RCMP say they’ve determined a stabbing that occurred near Clarenville, N.L. was self-inflicted.
Police had said Sunday that they were searching for a suspect after a 42-year-old man was allegedly stabbed while walking his dog.
Police now say their investigation has concluded otherwise.
The Mounties say there are no suspects at large and no concern for public safety as a result of the incident, which is still under investigation.
The man was taken to hospital and later released.
