GLACE BAY, N.S. - Police in Cape Breton say poor road conditions may have caused a vehicle to crash into a utility truck today.

Police say officers were called to South Street in Glace Bay around 9:30 a.m. after a vehicle drove into the back of a utility truck that was parked on the road.

They say a male that had been working on a platform on the back of the truck was taken to hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say weather and road conditions may have been a factor in the crash.

The investigation is ongoing.
