LIVERPOOL, N.S. - RCMP in Nova Scotia are investigating the death of a man who fell off his bicycle.

The Mounties say officers were called to Main Street in Liverpool around 2:15 p.m. on Friday to direct traffic after a man fell from his bike.

They say emergency workers could not revive the 52-year-old man.

Cpl. Scott MacRae says investigators believe a medical emergency caused Anthony Bogotaj to fall off his bike and his death does not appear to be suspicious.

MacRae says witnesses told police the man had been involved in a dispute shortly before falling off the bike, but it's not clear if that was a contributing factor in his death.

An autopsy will be performed.
