Baillie back in Cape Breton today

SYDNEY — Progressive Conservative leader Jamie Baillie brought his provincial election campaign back to Cape Breton for a number of stops around the island today.

He began his day knocking on doors with Keith Bain, the PC candidate for Victoria-The Lakes, at 9 a.m. and was scheduled to join Allan MacMaster, the party's candidate for Inverness at the rally and walk for a CT scanner at Inverness Consolidated Memorial Hospital at 1:45 p.m.

A coffee with Joe Janega, the PC candidate for Cape Breton-Richmond at 3:30 p.m. was also on the schedule before he turned his tour to Halifax to take in a Mooseheads game.

Liberal leader Stephen McNeil's schedule included several stops in the Halifax area, while Premier Darrell Dexter met with healthcare workers in Truro on Saturday.
