Justin Michael Earl Arenburg, 19, of Conquerall Mills, changed his plea to guilty on April 5 to a charge of transmitting sexually explicit material to a person under the age of 14 for the purpose of facilitating an offence under Section 152 of the Criminal Code of Canada. That section relates to invitation to sexual touching.
The matter has been adjourned to June 7 to allow time for a pre-sentence report to be prepared and for sentencing. Two other charges - invitation to sexual touching and communicating with a person under age 14 by means of telecommunications for the purpose of facilitating an offence under Section 152 of the Criminal Code of Canada – have been adjourned for disposition.
The Crown has advised that there will be no victim impact statement. The identity of the victim is protected by a publication ban.Arenburg committed the offence in Aylesford between Jan. 3 and 9, 2016.
