Halifax police recover firearm after break and enter in citys north end

HALIFAX - Halifax police have recovered a firearm after an attempted break and enter in the city's north end.
Police responded to the 3600 block of Acadia St. at 11:30 p.m. Sunday, where two men dressed in black and wearing masks had entered a residence, produced a gun and demanded money.
A confrontation ensued before officers arrived and the weapon was dropped as the suspects fled the scene.
Police couldn't find the suspects but did recover the weapon.
