HALIFAX - The countdown is on for the big screen return of Ricky, Julian and Bubbles, with the troublesome trio premiering a new Trailer Park Boys movie at the Atlantic Film Festival next month.
"Trailer Park Boys: Countdown to Liquor Day" launches the 10-day movie marathon in Halifax on Sept. 17.
Directed by Mike Clattenburg, the long-awaited followup to "Trailer Park Boys: The Movie" follows the boys as they try to make their way on the straight and narrow upon release from jail.
Organizers say the opening night gala screening will be followed by a star-studded party in downtown Halifax where fans can mingle with the cast and crew and enjoy live musical performances.
Other films slated for the Atlantic Film Festival were to be announced Aug. 19. The festival runs Sept. 17 to 26 in Halifax.
"Trailer Park Boys: Countdown to Liquor Day," opens across the country Sept. 25.
