NEW YORK, N.Y. - Even though Lea Michele stars on a television show, her "Glee" role has had such an impact on music this year that Billboard is honouring her with a "triple threat" award.
She'll get the award at Billboard's annual "Women in Music" luncheon in New York City on Thursday honouring Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas.
The 24-year-old Michele says "it's wonderful recognition." But even though she's being honoured by a music publication, Michele has no plans to put out a record like her co-star Matthew Morrison.
Michele says the "Glee" soundtracks are so successful "I feel like I've already sort of made albums."
