OTTAWA - The Canadian Folk Music Awards are moving to a new venue because of a labour dispute.
The awards, to be handed out Nov. 21, have been moved to Ottawa's Dominion-Chalmers United Church.
They were originally set to take place at the Museum of Civilization in Gatineau, Que., but staff there walked off the job on Sept. 21.
Employees at the War Museum in Ottawa are also on strike.
Halifax singer/songwriter Joel Plaskett has a leading four nominations.
Montreal ensemble OktoEcho is next with three nods.
