Residents in Southwest Saskatchewan have a pair of chances to catch Saskatchewan Express in their own backyards this summer.
Saskatchewan Express will be performing their We Love Saskatchewan 2013 Summer Tour at the Saskatchewan Landing Provincial Park on July 12 at 7 p.m., plus they will be helping Shaunavon celebrate their centennial during a show on July 21.
For the 33rd consecutive year, Saskatchewan Express is taking their singing and dancing stage show across the province. This year's tour is already booked in 17 communities plus an extended stay in Regina for the Queen City Exhibition.
The performers selected for the 2013 We Love Saskatchewan Summer Tour include: Olivia Balisky from Meadow Lake, Amy Fong, Zach Ford, Skyler Hart, Breanna Mills, Chonteal Ramsey, Jessica Soltys of Regina, Landon Jorgenson from White City, Chris MacCallum originally from La Ronge, Austin Mayor from Strasbourg, Kristianne (Kira) Reiss from Saskatchewan Beach, Dawn Stewart from Rockglen, Spencer Williams of Elrose and Patrick Winand from Englefeld.
Saskatchewan Express founder and Artistic Director Carol Gay Bell is again responsible for helping create this summer’s show.
Since its inception in 1980, Saskatchewan Express has performed for more than 3.5 million people and has traveled nearly 500,000 kilometres across the province, the country and in the United States.
