Druid’s Circle at deCoste presents Scottish songs, stories

PICTOU – A musical written by a well-known local piper Robbie MacInnis will take the deCoste stage again this Saturday and Sunday.

The Druid’s Circle is a play about the stories of the Ship Hector passengers. An ancient Druid who witnessed the passengers voyage tells their stories.

The musical has both traditional and original compositions that reflect Scottish culture including singers, bagpipers, and highland dancers, and storytelling.

The cast features some local talent including Randy Gilby, Charles McPherson, John Spyder Macdonald, Chris Jackson, Cecely Gilby and Robbie MacInnis.

Tickets for the Druid’s Circle are on sale now at the deCoste Centre box office and will be available at the door.
