TRURO - The 11th annual Animediafest will begin in Truro on Thursday.
The festival, which focuses on animation, game design, web comics and more, will take place at the Nova Scotia Community College from Thursday to Saturday
The first day will get underway with a panel presentation on creating web comics and graphic novels. It takes place on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in room 341 of McCarthy Hall.
Fine art painting, music and animation will be highlighted from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. in the same room. Millbrook's Alan Syliboy will be the guest speaker.
From 4 to 6 p.m., also at the same location, creating graphic novels will be demonstrated by Annapolis Valley's Mark Oakley, creator of Thieves and Kings graphic novel series.
