LONGUEUIL, Que. — About 10,000 fans packed a Montreal-area parking lot Wednesday night for a free concert staged by the Montreal band Arcade Fire.
The fans were treated to some songs from the band’s new album “The Suburbs,” to be released in August.
Parts of “Rococo,” “Modern Man”, “Month of May” and “No Cars Go” were part of the show in Longueuil, south of Montreal.
Earlier in the day, Arcade Fire announced two shows in Toronto Friday and Saturday at the Danforth Music Hall in the city’s east end.
