CHARLOTTETOWN - The P.E.I. Snowmobile Association is offering a $500 reward for information about the killing of a fox in Charlottetown.
The group is looking for the names of people believed to have crushed the animal with their snow machines early Saturday morning.
Association president Dale Hickox says the brutal act is painting a bad picture of snowmobilers.
Hickox says members of his group are "appalled" by the weekend incident.
He says any names will be turned over to the authorities.
A Charlottetown Police Services spokesman says their investigation continues and they're looking to talk to "several people of interest."

Good for the PEI snowmobile association! Goodness only knows, all snowmobilers get painted with the same brush when idiots like the ones that murdered an innocent animal - and that is exactly what they did - get in the act.
Now, if it was possible to keep some of the snowmobilers sober at least some of the time ... naw, that's too much to ask for, isn't it?
