What is going to be the outcome when one of your fine emergency workers or a neighbor is pulling the body of some child out of the water for the lack of a fence? If you have never dealt with a dead child and the parent(s) hysterical you are a very fortunate may your luck continue.

Plain and simple, this discussion was to ensure the town isn't sued the next time some kid or drunk person sneaks into someone's yard with a pool and drowns. As long as the town is free and clear, let the pools fill up! Pool owners, however...

finally the town is for the people! if there is no public pool in the town, than let people have pools in their yards...yes I know there is a ymca but I was thinking more of an outdoor pool....
