Conciliation coming in contract talks for faculty at N.S. university

ANTIGONISH, N.S. - St. Francis Xavier University and its faculty are working on a new contract.

The two sides have agreed to conciliation that begins on Thursday.

University spokesman Kyler Bell says the school is hoping for a timely resolution.

The faculty association's previous contract expired last June.
