MONTREAL - Quebec provincial police divers have found the body of a 13-year-old boy after his snowmobile plunged into a lake.
Authorities are still looking for his 37-year-old father after finding the vehicle today during a search of the lake near Montreal.
A police helicopter that was called in on Sunday saw snowmobile tracks on the ice that led into the lake.
Sgt. Marc Leduc of the Lac-des-Deux-Montagnes regional police says the tracks ended at the water's edge where there's no ice.
He says the tracks are about a half-kilometre away from a snowmobile trail that has been officially marked by the Quebec Federation of Snowmobilers.
The man and his son went out onto the ice Sunday and did not return home for dinner.
