About the blog

Gwen Mowbray-Cashen never expected a blog of her husband Chris' recovery would generate so much interest.

"It floors me I see the number of hits," she said of the figure that now stands at more than 46,000 since it was created in early September.

"Honestly, I have no small talk left. I start to stay something and they say, 'oh yeah I read about that.'"
