Christmas Village Open House
A Dickens Christmas village open house will be held at 1925 Highway 6 in Truemanville from 6-9 p.m. Goodwill donations to Sunrise Trinity United Church accepted.

After School Movie
The Springhill library will be showing the movie "Santa Buddies" from 3-4:30 p.m. Open to ages 5-12. Register by Dec. 12.
Classic Movie Night
The Springhill library will be showing Irving Berlin's "Holiday Inn" at 7 p.m. Register by Dec. 5.
Christmas Luncheon
Amherst CWC will hold its Christmas Luncheon at the Wandlyn Inn 11:30 a.m. Reservatons required. Call 667-3729 for info. All welcome.
Scrabble Night
The Four Fathers Memorial Library in Amherst will be hosting Scrabble night from 6:30-8 p.m.

Bag Sale
The Bridge Adult Service Centre, 16 Station St., Amherst will hold a fill-a-bag used clothing sale from 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
Dec. 18
Christmas Musical
The Revival Centre Youth Group will present the Christmas musical "Bethlehem A.D." at 7 p.m.
Bag Sale
The Bridge Adult Service Centre, 16 Station St., Amherst will hold a fill-a-bag used clothing sale from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Turkey Shoot
A turkey shoot will be held at the River Hebert Legion at 1 p.m. Call Mike VanSnick at 251-2072 to register.

Christmas Musical
A Christmas musical will be held at Crossroads Gospel Temple, 155 Church St., Amherst at 6:30 p.m.
Dec. 21
Holiday Party
The Amherst library will be having its annual holiday party for Grades Primary to 6 from 2:30-4:30 p.m.
Christmas Service
A multi-national Christmas service will be held at the Amherst Wesleyan Church, 50 Cornwall Ave., at 7 p.m.
Dec. 24
Christmas Eve Service
The Revival Centre will hold a Christmas Eve service at 6 p.m.
Christmas Eve Pagent
The 46th annual Christmas Eve Pagent will be held at Immanuel United Church at 7 p.m.
Grinch Comes to Library
The Amherst Library will be showing "The Grinch Who Stole Christmas" starring Jim Carrey from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., for Grades Primary to 6.
Dec. 25
Christmas Dinner
A community Christmas dinner will be held at the Amherst Fire Hall at 2 p.m. Admission is free. All welcome.
Dec. 26
The Springhill & Oxford area chapter of the Kidney Foundation of Canada will hold a family breakfast and fundraiser at the Lamp Cabin Dining & Beverage Room (Junction Road), Springhill
Breakfast from 8-11:30 a.m. Fundraiser from 2 p.m.-midnight.
Dec. 27
A cribbage tournament will be held at the Amherst 50+ Club, 52 Croft St., at 1:30 p.m. Registration at 1 p.m. Please bring a partner.
Jan. 6
Air Cadet Parade
154 Amherst Anson Air Cadet Squadron, will hold its COs Parade at 6 p.m., at Amherst Armories. New cadets welcome Wednesdays from 6 to 9 p.m. Call 669-1543.
