NORWOOD, Ont. - The driver of a pickup truck involved in a collision with a school bus Wednesday near Peterborough, Ont., remains in hospital in critical condition.
Benjamin Walter Anger, 20, of Madoc, Ont., was airlifted to the trauma unit of a Toronto hospital after the accident with what were described as life-threatening injuries.
Anger was travelling west on Highway 7 when his pickup crossed into the eastbound lane, eventually hitting the school bus head-on near the centre line.
Seven students suffered minor injuries such as cuts and bruises.
The bus was carrying about 45 students and teachers from Lakefield District Secondary School when it collided with the pickup.

The bus driver is being credited by police for keeping the bus upright and preventing a rollover.
