TORONTO - Home renovation guru Mike Holmes has built his own magazine.
The beefy contractor is known for his TV series "Holmes on Homes" and "Holmes Inspection," which uncover renovation and construction nightmares.
He says his new venture is called, "Holmes: The Magazine to Make it Right."
Regular features will include an advice column, an eco-section dedicated to all things green, and a spotlight on Canadian tradespeople at the top of their game.
The periodical will be released across Canada on Monday.
Holmes is set to sign copies of the debut issue Monday at a magazine store in Toronto.
"This is the magazine homeowners need to help them with their renovations," Holmes said Thursday in a release.
"It's the magazine I was searching for and couldn't find. So, I had to make my own magazine, and `make it right."'
