Puberty Party
The Sexual Health Centre for Cumberland County will host a free boys and parents puberty party at 11 Elmwood Dr. (use side entrance), 6:30-8:30 p.m. Pre-register at 667-7500.
Gangs Information Session
For parents and guardians of students in Grades 6 to 9. At 6 p.m., E.B. Chandler Junior High. Call 694-8581 to register.
Dinner/Auction
The United Way of Cumberland County will hold a ladies dinner and auction at
6 p.m., at the Wandlyn Inn. Call 667-2203 for tickets.
Christmas Tea
St. Mark's ACW will hold a Christmas tea and sale at St. Mark's Hall in Aulac, N.B., from 2-4 p.m.
Nov. 13
Pot Luck Supper and Cards
The Sunrise Senior Citizens Hall in Lower Shinimicas will hold a pot luck supper at 6 p.m., followed by an evening of cards. Bring your own dishes and favourite foods.
Locked in at the Library
An overnight book discussion group/slumber party, for girls in Grades 5-8. Call the Amherst library at 667-2549 for more information.
Fun Darts
Parrsboro Legion Branch No. 45 is hosting a weekly evening of fun darts starting at 8:30 p.m. Food bank donations are accepted.
Nov. 14
Veterans Dinner
A free dinner for veterans and their spouses will be held at 5 p.m., at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 10 in Amherst. Call 667-9949 before Nov. 1 or 667-8130.
Tea & Sale
St. Paul's CWL, River Hebert, annual tea and sale will be held at the parish hall from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Craft Sale
A craft sale will be held at Amherst
Wesleyan Church, 50 Cornwall Ave., from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
Turkey Dinner
A turkey dinner will be served at Heartz Hall in Trinity St. Stephen's United Church, 1 Ratchford St., Amherst, from 4-6 p.m. Call 667-8483 for tickets.
Old Time Country Music
The Hawkes Sisters will be playing old time country music at the Senior Citizens Centre (4 MacDougal St, Springhill) at 7 p.m. Proceeds to Christmas Daddies.
Family Literacy Fun Day
A family literacy fun day for parents/caregivers and kids ages six and younger will be held from 10 a.m.-noon at Maggie's Place. Call 667-7250 to register.
Shuffleboard
Parrsboro Legion Branch No. 45 is having a weekly evening of shuffleboard starting at 8:30 p.m. Food bank donations accepted.
Craft Sale
A craft sale will be held at the Wentworth Rec Centre from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Evening Service
St. David's Presbyterian Church (15 Junction Road, Springhill) will hold an evening service with music by Marianne Balser at 7 p.m. Free will offering.
