BRIDGEWATER, N.S. - RCMP say a Nova Scotia couple will appear in court today facing charges in the sudden death of an infant in Liverpool.
Amanda Lynne Oickle, 24, of Liverpool is charged with one count each of neglect to obtain assistance in childbirth and concealing the body of a child.
Andrew Gary Cunningham, 31, of Liverpool is accused of one count of concealing the body of a child.
RCMP say the deceased baby boy was brought to Queens General Hospital on Monday.
Police believe the baby was born at home last Wednesday.
An autopsy has been done, but police say no formal cause of death has been identified.
