SPRINGHILL - The pilot of a small single seat airplane walked away shaken but uninjured this morning after what he described as a "hard landing."

Mark Capone was at the controls of his personal aircraft and attempting to land on an airstrip he built in town limits this morning when the aircraft veared offcourse and came to a stop in some nearby bushes. Neighbours in the area are concerned about the airstrip being near their homes and today's mishap didn't do much to assuage their concerns.
