SUMMERVILLE, N.S. - A school bus carrying about a dozen children went into a ditch today and landed on its side in rural western Nova Scotia.
The bus, owned by the Tri-County Regional School Board, had both elementary and junior high students on board.
RCMP say there were no injuries.
Sgt. Michel LaCroix says the students continued their trip to school on another bus after being checked out by paramedics.
LaCroix says the accident happened around 7:30 a.m. on a gravel section of the Mood Road in Summerville.
The officer says it's not clear why the bus went off the road.
