Truck collides with toll booth on Cobequid Pass

COBEQUID PASS - East-bound traffic on the Trans Canada Highway through the Cobequid Pass has been halted after a truck collided with one of the three toll booths.

The traffic has been halted to allow the attendant working in the booth to be airlifted to hospital.

Amherst firefighters have said a number of fire departments, including the local Westchester department, are on scene.
